CONTINI Lorenzo
Fire prevention engineer
MSc IFMSE, fire prevention engineer at CERN. Degree in Civil Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. Master in Fire Safety Engineering (IMFSE), a 2-year international programme jointly organised by the Universities of Edinburgh (UK), Lund (Sweden) and Ghent (Belgium). During the time at Lund University of Technology, he delved into evacuation modelling and developed a mesoscopic model to study evacuations using a probabilistic approach.
RONCHI Enrico
Professor in Evacuation Modelling at the Department of Fire Safety Engineering
He is an Associate Professor in Evacuation Modelling at the Department of Fire Safety Engineering and at the Department of Transport and Roads at Lund University (Sweden). In addition, he is programme director at Fire Safety Engineering (M.Sc.). His research expertise includes evacuation modelling and human behaviour in fire in complex infrastructures such as transportation systems (e.g., tunnels), high-rise buildings, etc. and large-scale evacuation scenarios (Wildland-urban interface fires, city evacuation, etc.).
